What can brown do for you!!
What a guy.......i put the new ZR-1 wheels on with the Vredestein Sessanta tires and boy does it look sweet......the bad news is it is raining and the camera is dead so you will have to wait till tomarrow for pic's.. The funny thing was during the 35 minutes or so it took to put them on(fricken thief stole my air tools and compressor) i seen him drive by like 4 times.......i am sure he wanted to check them out..
What a difference in the ride.....my old Michelin XGT V4 where so hard and dry rotted it made for a interestin ride......MAN i didnt think i could be more impressed with the vette, but the new Vredestein Sessanta have a nice ride(even though i only took it around the block a few times)
By the way i ended up going with the 315's out back, man are they fricken HUGE!!

It's left Hodgkins, Il. about an hour ago, heading towards Wi.
Started out from Ga. yesterday.
One quick question though; I had never heard of the Vredestein Sessantas until a few weeks ago, but now it seems everybody is getting them. When did these become such good tires?
if you research the tires thru DOT youll see not many tires made carry a double A traction rating.. the Vredesteins tho have a good heat rating also but lack in wear.. i think they are rated 220 in wear rating.
the 315s on the back make the car look great.. good choice man!

I haven't heard this name for a long time, but back a little after John
Greenwood had made BFGoodrich a household name, BFG T/A radial
look-alikes were sold in Canada under the Vredestein name.
More about the BFG-Vredestein relationship here:
Vredestein concern was established in 1946. Now as then, Vredestein
Tyres B.V. is dedicated to the development, production, marketing,
sales and distribution of tyres for passenger cars, agriculture and
industry.
The setting up of a new business so soon after the Second World War
required both courage and insight. The factory in Enschede was a joint
Dutch-American venture, formed between Vredestein and BF Goodrich,
and welcomed at a time when much of the area's industry was in ruins.
Radial T/A's and they were trouble-free.

A friend has something similar and they are not directional, but do state which side goes to the outside making them a reversed tread pattern on each side. To me, they look odd. Seems that they would hydroplane easily to one side or the other.
Just put the Goodyear Tripple Tread (directional) on my Trailblazer and they handle water extremely well, no pull to either side. Have Potenza (directional) on the Vette and they feel very similar to the Goodyear's.
Nice wheels!
