Okay dumb question..where the heck are the back up lights on a '95? Are they the lights near the license plate? Had reason to back up last night in total darkness and realized for the first time, I had no lights...YIKES
There are also backup lights next to each rear side marker lamps that come on when in Reverse. They are tied into the same circuit as the backup lights so if they don't work, it's either a fuse (check here first!) or the switch down at the tranny.

Yeah, next to the tail lamps. Well sorta next to there, but actually both sides of the license plate. And remove the license plate to get to the bulbs.
If your car is a 6 speed the switch that activates them is notorious for going out.
If an auto the switch is in the shift console. Fuse panel is visible if you open the passenger door and look at the side of the dash.
