Default New owner question

I'm a new owner of a 1984 Corvette and am enjoying it so far.
It needs a bit of work on the electrical and is in desperate need of a paint job.
My question is: What has been the most worth while upgrade you've done to your Corvette?

For an 84, the biggest improvement and lowest cost for me was porting the intake. Picked a spare one up on ebay for $40 bucks ported it over the winter and installed it with a lid spacer in the spring.....big difference.

C-4's do not breath well, porting the intake is good. I installed hooker headers and a true duel exhaust, wow what a difference........let her breath.

Thanks for the welcome.
I live in Saskatchewan Canada, which will give me lots of winter time to get things fixed and modified on the Vette. Which will be great at first, but I will lose a lot of the year where I can't really drive the car.

I'll see if I can scoop up an intake and look at porting it myself.
