Dumb Idea?
Thinking about some projects. Instead of replacing console with new dulco console or sanding and painting it black, what do you think of painting it ruby red insted of black? i like original but rudy red might look good.

Someone here did it awhile back, actually looked nice. He did spend a lot of time so the finish appeared mint. Generally Im not a fan of painted interior stuff but his looked good.

I remember seeing that (it did look good) but couldn't even tell you what color it was.

The problem with paint is it will eventually flake and look terrible, thus having to redo. I've tried paint in some of my other cars, looked great for a year or two but eventually is turned crappy!
