My 94 seems to have a ticking sound on the passenger side when I start up the engine, it does not appear to be a lifter, I've been told the c4's do have lifter noise though. It does seem to go away after the car is good and warmed up.....This is a two owner car and it does not seem to have had any abuse, due to the fact that I know the 1st owner. i know things wear and tear....any thoughts on what I should look for?.....

I used to have that problem on a charger R/T that I owned.I found out some of the exhaust manifold bolts were loose.I tightened it up and it went away.I thought it was a lifter.Try to tighten the bolts-see if that was the problem and let us know

It does seem to go away after the car is good and warmed up.....
What concerns me is it going away as the car warms up, if it had an exhaust leak it would make the noise, cold or hot. When the engine is cold does the ticking get faster as the r.p.m.s. increase ?
