OK Guys, Here's an update: The vinyl letters are, in fact, lifting after 4 days of heat and being un-rolled. I'll go to plan "B" and investigate some paint using stencils.
I am new to this forum but appreciate the fact that it offers a place for people of common interests to share ideas and information. My intentions were to share an idea. No doubt someone will "Build a better mouse trap" and pass it on.
Let's keep this fun and informative and...............MATURE!

Glad I read this. Had plans on doing the same. Keep us posted on what you try. I was thinking of having it machine emroidered. Any thoughts?
My first idea was a separate piece of fabric with a logo etc. It would have to be stitched to the vinyl. I was reluctant to take the shade out of the car so I tried the vinyl letters first. The dye or paint idea might work, however, I fear it might flake and create another problem.
