Heater/AC switch
Anyway, my problem is if I make a hard right turn the AC turns to heat. If I make a rare hard left turn and am lucky the ac kicks back on. So, I know the AC works but I suspect its some switch that indicates whether AC or heat comes out. I know basic car repair and use my manuals I bought but not even sure exact problem.
What is name of item and will it mean removing alot of the dash to access and repair. thanks.

I'd start by determing if the compressor is turning off? If so, then checking the clutch activation wiring might be appropriate.
If the compressor continues to be engaged, then it might have something to do with the air handling door (which I think swings back and forth to allow air to pass over the heater core vs the ac condensor).
However, my thought is that it is wiring related and not a switch. Further, if we assume it is body stress/flex causing a wire (or two) to seperate/connect, then I would doubt there that much flex in/behind the dash.
So, I'd examine the wiring in/around the suspension and/or wiring which passes through the firewall. E.g. on our 1994, the wires to the AC pressure sensor in the AC line near the 'air box' at the firewall, is tight, and excessive body twist could make it too tight.
