Default letting it warm up

Hello again friends,I've had my Vette now about 5 months or so now,I've noticed a few things about it now,I don't know if any of this is new news to anyone here especially to you gurus out there.
The first thing that I've noticed is that if I just start it up and go that it runs just a little rough and seem to be running lean,But,if I let it warm up for 3 min or more it purrs like a kitten and runs soooo smooth,I can't tell what the temp is running because the digi dash has never worked on it,you can actually hear and feel the point that it smooths out in an instant. the second thing is that if you park it right after you've been at highway speeds then it will puff dark smoke when you go to start it up the next time(only for about the first pump and it takes twice as many cranks to start,But again if you let it idle for a minute or two before you turn it off then it will be fine when you go to start it back up.and the third thing is that when you drive with the top off there is a god awful loud loud squeak that comes from the dack of the car, again But,If you have the top on than it's nice and quiet and no squeaks.I love my Destiny (cars name)and I'm still a newby and it still feels like it's too good to be true and I'm always worried that someone or something is gonna take her away from me.Hey,thanks for listening to my rabble and I wish y'all many happy hours driving your Vettes and sharing the fun with your loved ones. daddue11

You may have a leaky fuel injector.

These cars flex alot with the roof off and that may explain your squeek. Enjoy your Vette

Shouldn't.
Find out what is amiss.

Mine runs perfectly from the first fire.

My mufflers are eliminated but if I give it some gas when it is cold the black smoke comes out. The car goes like a raped ape but it is definately rich when cold.

I am no exspurt and assume we are talking different years and enigines, but I will insert foot in mouth anyway. I believe it runs in open loop until temp gets to about 105*F, then goes to closed loop. When in open loop the computer is not regulating the engine with sensor feedbacks, ergo a slight run rich situation. If I am right then what you are seeing is perfectly normal as engine is not running efficiently until closed loop occurs. Suggestion--don't go WOT until in closed looop.
