the lowest octane you can run without detonation or retard will make the most power. BTW Octane boosters in bottle are worthless anyway. (except Torco)

The knock sensor listens for ping at a range the humon ear cannot hear. Are you hearing the engine stumble? If so have you tried 93 octane or what is the timing at? The timing might be to much.
