How often do you wave?
Where I live, everytime I try to wave at a fellow vette member, I get ignored......whats the deal? Is it like this everywhere?
So.....How often does everyone "save the wave"?

I wave and get waves back about 1/2 the time. Mostly from C3 and C4 drivers. Not much from the C5 folks, don't know why. Keep it up though, it'll catch on. :seeya

Every time I am in my vette & see another I wave. I only get wavebacks from older vettes though.
On my motorbike I wave to every cyclist I see. Only the Harley guys dont wave back. :(
I like comraderie in a hobby it makes me feel good. :cheers:

I wave to all that I see. As mentioned earlier some days I get waved back to some days not. Its the same with C5's around here. It comes out about alittle better than about 50%. There are not alot of Corvettes around here to wave to in the first place. So when I see one I wave my arm off. :)

If you pass me on the highway in a vette and I see you, I wave :seeya . In fact if my windows are down I will hang out the window as far as I can and wave. It shocks some of the C5s when they see me and they proceed to wave back. :seeya They have to learn somehow. Maybe some are just newbies in a new C5. :)

Around here very few people wave back, I've never had a C3 or earlier car wave back, mostly it's the C5 guys that I get them from... I'd say 1/3 or the waves are returned.

When I have the top off, I wave at all convertibles. Once, a Porsche Boxter waved at me first! :D
I don't get discouraged when other 'vette owners don't wave back - maybe they'll wave next time. :yesnod:

Ok guys I would think that most of the non wavers are newbies, I just got my vette and was waved to by a C5, not knowing what it was I still waved back. Then I read it here and wave to all nowadays and must say that I have a ratio of about 90-95% of the people wave back

Always wave. Some don't wave back. The don't waves are not limited to old, young, C3, C4 or C5s. I figure those that don't are listening to the sweet sound of their car and will wave when they come back from their mini-vacation.
