You can change your rpm with your shifter to alleviate some of the drone something I didnt care to do. The guys with the autos really have it bad. I wouldn't get to exited about tightening up your BB and getting rid if the drone. There have been many a topic discussed here on your issue.

I just sent the Corsa rep. an e-mail because he didn't get back with me like he said he would. I'm hoping that was due to being busy and not because he's trying to give me the brush-off. I don't thnik that's it because he genuinely seemed interested to help us out. By helping us out, he's also lining the pockets of his company, so it would be in his best interest to work with us. I told him that we're not paying retail, so it all depends if he cares about making sales.

I'd be stupid to simply buy the Corsas now without first seeing if the drone is still there. It sounds like it may be less, but it will still be there. If it is, then I'll do what I have to do.

Very possible. But if someone tells me that he's going to contact me on a certain day, then I expect that person to contact me on that day. I wouldn't have minded if he told me he couldn't do anything until at least next month, but when he said he will contact me over the weekend, that is what I expect. We'll see if/when he responds. I have no reason to think that he won't respond to my most recent e-mail, so when he does, I'll post the results.

assuming 85 500 has an '85' vette, the Corsa cat-back is a bit cheaper than the LT1 owners have to pay.
I love my Corsa.
I've had to cheap out on repairs every now and then but I went for the best when I replaced the old aftermarket set that some prior owner had installed (might have been dynaflow?) and it cut resonance from nearly unbearable down to nearly unnoticeable.
Corsa is GOOD.

One thing to remember about Corsa exhausts. they are designed for no interior resonance/drone on a stock vehicle. This can change as it becomes more heavily modified (heads, cam upgrade, headers, aftermarket cats or no cats). The tone can become more aggressive but we still get good feedback for these on modified vehicles.

I had an email correspondence with a top Corsa guy today.
The good news is that are developing 2.5 inch and then later 3 inch Universal mufflers!
And to put to rest the other rumors, no they are not going to make a dedicated 3 inch Gen 4 Vette system. But who cares now that they will have universal mufflers available.

Brown delevered the Corsa today. One box looked like Mojo did a burnout on it, but the packaging was superior to any shipping companies attempts to destroy it. Workmanship is fantastic. Now waiting for new high flow cats and o2 sensors to show up. I don't think $1400. is too much for a manifold back system to cost. Please let me know what you think.

I received a response from the Corsa rep. He advised me to contact Tom Byrne - see post #94 above, to make this deal happen. I sent him a long, involved e-mail detailing our needs so we'll have to see if he's responsive and amenable.
