I doubt they are losing money, they are probably selling older lower cost stock and working on a smaller mark-up. It all depends on what MP (margin of profit) a reseller is willing to accept.

I know Corsa is making a hefty MP on these. I am sure the resellers are making much less, but probably 20+ points on average, or it wouldn't be worth their time.

I wouldn't expect you to reveal your cost, but how much of a % break did Corsa offer you for this "sale"?

I wish we could make 20 points on these and alot of other products that we carry. Some things might seem expensive but there really isn't much $ in them. It might seem like manufacturers and vendors are making alot but there are alot of things that go into the price. Some of those are the toll free number that you dial, the cost of the phone system that it's connected to, the phone that the person is going to answer, the hourly rate that the person who answers is getting, the cost of the chair, desk, computer, paper, ink, electric, gas, insurance, building and everything else that goes along with it. Manufacturers have bigger buildings and big dollar equipment to produce the products along with all of the money that goes into R&D. This stuff adds up way to fast. And when talking about exhausts, the price of stainless keeps going up. These aren't small/light and fuel prices aren't cheap so there is something else to be added to the price. All this just doesn't apply to exhausts, pretty much everything else that we call buy. Probably a good reason why alot of companies out there operate in the red.

If you knew what we would have made on this GP, you'd wonder why I even took the time to type this post
