My new 95 passenger side sill seems to be pulled out at the bottom. The sill under the speaker cover and the bottom is loose next to the seat. Can anyone tell me how these are atttached and how to secure it flush? The drivers side seems pretty tight a little flex but not like the passenger side.
If it's anything like my 88 then the carpet is actually wrapped around a hard plastic shell that's the shape of the sill. The carpet is held on by glue and tubing that keeps the edges tucked in.
If it's the shell that's pulling away you can always use interior screws to attach it to the sill itself.
Thanks for the response. It is the hard shell that is pulled out, how is that attached stock? The interior screws sound like a good plan, is the sill under the hard shell glass?

The shell is glued to the top part of the sill. NASA should probably use this glue for the shuttle tiles since it's very hard to undo. On the bright side, the shell is extremely sturdy and can handle the tugging. You can always use interior screws to fasten it from the outside and inside for good measure.
