Low Fuel
I know Reserve message shows up on the fuel guage when fuel is low, but can someone tell me if the SES light is supposed to come on too. My reserve message was on and I got an SES light. When I stopped for gas and restarted, the SES was not still lit. Thanks for any info.

Another fuel gauge question: do the bars go away equally, or do the top bars take longer to go away than the bottom ones? More miles from the top ones then the bottom if same mileage?

Thanks for the quick reply Illini Steve! I also checked the code a few minutes ago and it was a 32 EGR circuit. Is this still due to the low fuel condition? The reason I ask is because I believe I still had 2 bars with the reserve message on. All bars had not disappeared at that point.

I had the reserve light on yesterday with 2 bars showing, was on my way to get gas when it sputtered and stopped. A friend put 1 gal. in, and I got to the station and put in 18.5 gals... :confused:
