C4' sound
Do you like the roaring sound of your C4 ?
Not me.-
i own a Firebird 82 V6 since 1996 when i first got it,i hated its sound
what i did is i took it to the muffler shop and took everything off the mufflers,so they look stock,but they dont have nothing inside,i really like the sound of it and im planning to do the same thing on my Vette.
My Vette has much treble sound to it,much "mid tones",sometimes it reminds me of a 6L engine,but im talking about idling,on Parking.-
when i took it for a ride it sounds decent,but i want a lower tone from it
something like "boom boom boom" but real low tone,im not talking about low volume,a low tone,i hope you understand me,is there any trick to make it sound lower ? Do you like the sound of your vette ? Have any of you not being happy with the tone and after a muffler change,you experienced a great change in sound ?

My 84 is all stock. I have done some research on after market exaust that looks stock and plan on changing to a magnaflow system. I hate the reverberation I get when I am going around 55 mph. Its so bad it drowns out the stereo.

I put a Flowmaster Series 50 Cat back, on my 88, it lets you know it is a performance car. Stereo sounds great, and my Wife can talk and I don't have a reason not to listen.
