any one flashes?
When a cop's is around, do you all flash the other cars not only vette's to say there are cops ahead? and how often do you all flash your head lights to remind the other drivers to slow down?

Never.
If they are speeding I hope they get caught. I have plenty of things to worry about and protecting someone else's butt isn't one of them.

I'll do it if I see the cops have a radar trap and are pulling multiple cars over... if it's only a single cop, he's most likely waiting to catch someone thats really pushing the limit.. and in that case I won't flash.

I used to do it during the day when I did not have pop up lights (93 civic hb), still do it at night, but WATCH OUT!!!
My mom passed a speed trap... flashed all the cars in front of her (with her VEHICLE'S HEADLIGHTS!!!), got a wave from a guy up front... when she passed him, it was an UNDERCOVER COP!!!
I.E. Don't flash any other cops!

i think thats a little d*ck. why not flash i am sure we all speed a little .. its nice to see people flashing me when im going over by a little... but dont take that as a flame its not just saying atlease tell them to slow down if they dont they need to be pulled over... lol

Flash for speed traps? Where do you guys live? I have never seen a Californian do anything like this:D.

I've had my butt saved by oncoming traffic flashing their headlights more than a few times....

We got a lot of jerks here that deserve to get pulled over, not just for speeding but for many other dangerous manuevers.
I especially love when I slow down for a known speed trap and the jerk behind me guns it and passes me only to get nailed.

Just to add, I'm not trying to be a dick by not warning, but if you are breaking the law, you are breaking the law. If you want to speed, get a RADAR detector. If I'm breaking the law I deserve to get a ticket, so does everyone else.
People here don't flash as much as they used to because they can get busted for doing that.
I've only got two speeding tickets in my whole life and one of them was bull because the bus in front of me was speeding not me, but the trooper saw me in the left lane passing the same car the bus was.
So anyway what I'm saying is if you want to play, you've got to pay.

I still flash, but I have to admit, I've yanked back on the C-4's dimmer stalk a time or two before realizing I hadn't activated the pop-up headlamps first!
Lost precious reaction time and probably didn't help my fellow motorists much! :lol:
