They are nice but with such low miles you might run into some problems with the gaskets. If the car isn't cycled enough they might go bad. I would rather have one that has say 30-40k. This way i know it was cycled enough so the seals are not dry rotted.
Just think. Never driven or enjoyed, stored for years in some garage, only to be sold for less than what it costs them new. To me that's like a complete waste of time. What's the point? You don't enjoy the car first of all, and then you sell it and lose money. Maybe they get more kicks staring it at in the garage.
The 95s bring good money, (not sure about 49k) and yes I bet it smells brand new. There is a local guy out here who has a black.black 90 with 800 miles on it, bought it brand new and stuck it in his garage after 3 weeks. Couldnt get 25k for it. I had to resist temptation, couldnt own something like that without putting tons of miles on it and modding it. As durable as those motors are it would last you the rest of your life.
There are lots of lo/no milers left out there coming out of the woodwork.
That car is worth that money, just because there are "zr1"'s on ebay for 30k doesnt make all zr1's worth 30k or less. Low mileage ZR1 especially the 95's are worth big bucks, and 7k on my 95....dont worry about gaskets and such that is just people that cant afford them talk.
mines not a zr1 or anything rare at all just a '87 4+3 coupe bought it last year for $6000 with 49,000 miles on it. a friend of mine saw the car and bet i had paid at least $20,000. some people have no idea...

[QUOTE=All2kool;1562316824]I follow the ZR-1 market very closely. Check eBay, you'll find them there quite often, many times with very low miles, for less than $35k.
You didnt see a 95 with similar miles SELL on ebay for less than 35..listed maybe.... sell..no.....
