Keyless Entry into a 1995 Corvette
I got my first Corvette today. Its a beautiful 1995 Black Convertible.
Oh my it has Loads of power. I have a couple Questions. When I open the door the word Security is always flashing. What does this mean. Second and maybe its related, Is this car suppose to have a Keyless Transmitter to unlock and set the Security. I didn't receive one so Im not sure. Third If it is suppose to have one where can i find one?

The PKE, Passive Keyless Entry fobs can be purchased from supporting vendors such as Ecklers or found on E-bay

Yes your car came with PKE or Passive Keyless Entry which is susposed to open when you come into close promixty of your vehicle. You should have receive two fons. You can get those fobs on Ebay fairly readially used they go for about $75 and $150 for a new transmitter. The fobs for the coupe is different than the vert as the vert has less buttons. Normally the transimitters come with programming instructions. GC
