Sorry to hear about the legend Evel Knievel passing away. I had his toys as a kid. Has anyone ever seen Evels C4???
He had a 1989 white coupe/red interior with the Evel stars and bars
decals on the hood. That was a sweet car.. Hey we drive C4s like Evel thats cool. He was a big Harley and Corvette fan!!!!
OK, I am about to date myself. When I was a kid I remember buying tickets to go watch a pay-per-view of his Snake River Canyon jump. He was my hero when I was a kid. And lets face it he was the last true daredevel. Now a days my Grandmother could jump a motorcycle. Alumimun frames, 24 inches of suspension travel and total weight of 225 pounds. Compare that to what he jumped - a 400 pound harley with the lights, fenders and turn signals stripped off. Lets see some of todays riders try that!!!!! I will drink one for a legend!!

Exactly.A cast iron pig compared to what these guys are jumping with now.NOBODY will ever be as nuts as this guy was.I remember as a kid watching the Snake River jump.
From that Stunt Cycle toy. I had jumped a car or two in my driveway and met its end by landing in the street and an oncoming car did it in. What a great toy, and prob wouldnt pass today, it probably had lead paint too!
He is also responsible for us building jumps in the woods and clearing the small creeks...it was our snake river. (note to all: Make sure you tighten the front wheel on your BMX bike before jumping. From what I have heard it was the funniest things ever seen, not from my angle though)
