You can see my extra over sized 275 front tires spray up a lot more debris then normal. I can hear little rocks and stuff all the time getting flung up towards me.
If i had a choice i wouldn't pick those sizes again and just replace the rears twice if need be.
I'm driving a '07 Ford Focus. Worst car in the snow ever. Yesterday, I was driving through about 2 in of snow in a parking lot, turned the wheel and it kept going straight. I'm going to start driving my vette in the snow.
gotta say, i love driving in the snow. especially when its iced. course i dont see a lot of it so its a special occasion when i get to see the cold stuff. the last time it iced real bad in texas, about 4 or 5 years ago, i took my old P.O.S. 300z 5spd out for a spin... and i mean a lot of spins. i was trying to blow the motor. best fun in a long time
I got mine in 2004 december here in minnesota and there was snow on the ground, it made it thru the winter fine but its better with the right tires they make the whole difference, summer wide performance tires
and you wont be going nowhere , trust me guys from down south, you have to drive in it and you'll see why most people park there cars in the winter, as for me i just wait for clear roads after they plow and you can still drive allot in the winter your choice.
