Default Problems w/Steering Wheel Adapter???

I have a MOMO adapter for my telescopic wheel, the problem I am having is how to get it to set firmly onto the steering shaft where the splines on the adapter and the shaft are supposed to go together. I put the nut onto it hoping that would push the adapter down onto them but to no avail, the adapter wiggles on the shaft and that is the problem. I am open to all ideas on how to get this thing to fit properly.

Thanks

Brett

Are you saying the spline fit is sloppy or you can't get the adapter over the splined shaft ??

YES, it will not go on and fit firmly. I can shake the whole adapter on the shaft when it is installed.

What is the part number for the adapter you have? You should have Momo Part #2702 as seen here: http://www.shopmomo.com/2702.html
.
