Bose Stereo
Just Bought My First Vette. It's A 1989 Coupe With 24,900 Miles. It Has The Bose System In It But When You Turn It On You Hear Alot Of Buzzing. I Can Hear The Music But It's Very Faint. It Does The Same Thing With Tapes. Any Suggestions?

Interference from the alternator is what it sounds like. Try replacing the Amp Relay, its behind the passenger side dash panel "breadbox". Here's a diagram.

The forum has an Audio section, in that section is the C4 sticky. Reading it will answer most of your questions concerning the Bose systems in our cars. If you still have any questions, you can post them there.
BTW, it sounds like your speaker amps need to be rebuilt.
