Tranny Help!!
Probably a stupid question, I'm pulling a 4 3 tranny and an automatic. How do you get the shifter ***** off, or do you have to take the shifter itself off??

If you filled out your profile it would help.What years etc.??
On the auto, needle nose pliers and pull out the shift button and you will see a circlip down in there that needs to be removed.Then the **** will lift off. Don't know anything about stick shift.Probably just brute force in an anticlockwise direction.
