...Of the big dumb smile I can't wipe off my face after driving my restored 1984 down the road today. Only put on about 5 miles, but Whew!!! What a rush. It has been a long fustrating and fun project and I love this car! C4's rule!
Its nice to hear of a 84 being restored as many Corvette enthusiasts like to think of the 84 as the Corvette that should of never been built. However the 84 will always be remembered as one of the finest handling Corvettes ever built and the C4 that started it all. Next year will bring it into Classic Car status in every state except N.Y. and IMO its value will rise like the mid 70s C3s. What makes the 84 so unique is how you can display it at shows with Car of the year awards articles magazine articles, and history stories of how Dave McLellan and his staff made the most modern, futuristic Corvette to ever be built till that time.
Congrats on getting it back on the road. Nice to see someone restoring an 84, they will be one of the most collectible Vettes in another few years. Now where are those pictures???
i had that smile the first time i drove my 84 as well but of course that was the first time driving a vette. oh and i still get that smile when i drive it lol
