Id say the "needs TLC' privces are a little high but the rest of the categories....WAY high. No way I could ever get 28k for my car, if I could it would be gone tomorrow.
The table and local (Houston) free-market values are two different things (table = MUCH higher).
However, in an interesting side note, the state of Texas has decided that most everybody cheats on their stated sales value when they transfer car titles after a sale (probably true). Further to that, the state now tells buyers how much the buyers paid (ain't government bureaucracy wonderful?).
The state of Texas told me (and I'm not allowed to argue) that my '95 LT1 coupe was worth some $3K more than I paid for it (I just transfered the title Friday). I think they use the tables in this post....

Minnesota has been doing this for years, but it's completely at the discretion of the counter worker who is helping you with the transaction. They are hardly experts on car values and only check blue book for the truly stupid (you know - "I got a great deal on this 06 CTS, guy's grandma sold it to me for $750.00").
Dave - you should know better than to ask about C4 values here on this forum. No where on earth will you find so many people who think C4s so worthless as here on this forum. I always thought that was kind of strange, given that we're all supposed to be C4 enthusiasts here.
Fact is, I suspect those prices are a bit optimistic, but starting in about April or May those will be the prices dealers will be asking at the retail level. And, at least early in the season, I suspect they will sell some C4s up near those numbers.
If those are true, I'll be retarded and offer my 56k mile Good Condition 87 Roadster for only 12k.
Everyone likes to think their car is "good condition" but chances are. . .it is only "average" in this context. In this case, a good condition car would likely have zero paint chips, no paint color fade, an interior that is like new, it would be 100% original, and more. Very few of us have above average cars, no matter how much we think we do, and in this table "good" condition is "above average". With that in mind, your 12k selling price would be right on. I know. . .my 88 has only 52k miles and has been a garage queen most of it's life, still, it would only be average in this context.
