It means you have to send it to Dr. Dons to get refurbed. I just had it done a month ago. Tell them Brenda K. sent you and they will do it for $60 even. I tried everything to get it working like cleaning contacts, etc and nothing else works 
it's easy to remove and they can turn it around in a day.
