c5 wiper problem

c5 wiper problem
went to have my c5 inspected today and the wiper decided not to retract when put in the off position. It actually goes off in the fully open position when turned off. It's like it is going off in the opposite direction if this makes sense. all other positions work normally. Can anyone tell me what to do to make it close normally. thanks.
