You are not getting answers because no one knows what you drive. A profile or more info would be helpful.

i've got the melrose system on my 90 l98. came with an X-pipe and hi-flow cats (they use random tech cats from what i've heard).
Thats all buttoned up to my corsa cat back.

the headers are coated and emissions friendly.
they are expensive though.. i can't think of any that are more expensive then them.

very nice though.

On my 95, i put exotic muscle's headers on it. With there header extensions. They fit right in, the extensions will bolt the headers right up to the factory exhaust. No problems. Cost is about $780.00. Thats not including the extensions.

$800 is about the same price as EM and SW, if I remember correctly. Those and Melrose are all very good quality headers; I have EM and am very happy with them. I'd say they're worth it!

I've heard and seen all the big names. I got the EMs but the Melrose finish impressed me the most. The Jet hot coating worked so well that I could put my hand next to the header after a 1/4 mile run and not get burned. The one down fall of the smoothflow system is that the pipe from the header to X-pipe doesn't fit right. If you do a search for Melrose you should find the photos.

yeah, about $800 for the headers. I got the system with the x-pipe and high flow cats. I remember it being well over a grand. I didn't have the problems with fitment of the xpipe and clearance like some others have had. There was a pretty detailed post around here that showed the clearance issue.
