I have a 1996 and was hoping someone could help me identify this sensor.
Its on the passenger side placed about between the back 2 spark plugs. Small single wire leads to it. its about the size of a small socket 3/8"
previous owner mentioned needed heat sensor, could this be it? Thank you for the read.
Make sure it is what we are talking about. If so, you can take the wire off and ground it on the exhaust manifold/header and turn the key on. The analog coolant gauge should read full scale...all the way hot (260+). When the wire is diconnected it should read 0.
