I am looking into getting a navigation system. Im lookin for something that can have US and canadian maps. Im lookin for one that can also identify restaurants, hotels, and gas stations close by. If anyone has one that they would recommend or personally use. Id love to hear about it, please identify the model and the price. thanks everyone

Almost every brand of GPS on the market will do what you want. I've owned 2 and neither were the top priced brands Garmin. TOMTOM, etc) There are many used ones listed on Craigs list, etc. Seems many buy one for a long trip and then sell it a few months after they return. Guy in our Vette club just got a used one that would meet your requirements. 3 1/2 inch screen Navtour... looked like new with all accessories, Paid $90 for it.
Do a Google search for GPS and shop around. My advice is to get a 5.2 inch display. The 3 inch is just too small to read, touch for info etc,
I wouldn't get a TomTom. I bought one and on a recent trip to NC, it would not show where we were...it is now sitting on the work bench in my garage. Worked fine for Florida, but maybe once we got into the hills and mountains of NC, it couldn't get a fixed position. My $ 0.02. I did rent a Garmin in PA and it worked like a charm.
