why is it the passenger side is the only one that seems to get knocked off? Ive never knocked the drivers side cover off but my girlfriend, both of her sisters, and their mom knocked the passenger one off when getting in and out.

I have the clear plastic sills and what I hate is that I put my hand on the same spot when I get out. The carpet will eventually start showing dirt and wear. The metal sills are longer and would protect that area as well.

I first had the clear plastic ones, but I do hit them with my feet when I get out, so eventually they broke at the screw hole and then I would knock them off into the parking lot. Then I got the chrome metal ones and haven't had a problem since and like the look.

Those painted ones further up in this post are pretty sharp looking though, never thought about painting them like that.

I have the chrome version. New double sided tape solved the coming loose problem.

Those are also what i have, i thought they were stock parts. Are they aftermarket add-ons? What about the black plastic floor pans?

same ones I have, never have a problem of them falling off. they are in there pretty good.
I just got sick of cleaning the carpet all the time. I got these and its much easier, look kinda cool also. they are black on the light grey carpet. nice set off.

I wiped my sills with a napkin and scratched the crapola out of them. Is there anything that I can use to remove light surface scratches from the chrome?

You can use some mothers polish or other buffing compound or buy a new set of stainless steel ones from me.
