Default First Drive!!!!!!

Last night I finally drove my 87 Vette into town for its first drive. After weeks of claying the car. Cleaning the Interior. Swapping seats and cleaning the suspension it was time. First beautiful warm dry day in Steamboat, so I took her out. I loved every minute of it. Driving that car is like no other driving experience. I told my family jokingly but not really, that I was born to drive that Vette. I just felt different driving it. I will admit I was proud. I will never forget it and look forward to many adventures to come. How many of you had the same experience your first time behind the wheel and do you still feel that way each time you drive it. Race On. Todd

I feel that way every time behind the wheel. It's been 5 months since my last wheel time, so I know there will be an extra big smile in 2 weeks.

Ride On !!

It is a great feeling to drive it as well as waking her up after a long winters nap!

Took mine out today for the first time since October. Needed a full tank of fresh fuel so I went to my Gas Station and as I was filling it up noticed the NEW sign on the pump that said...10% ETHONAL... Well OK we will see what happens. On the way home jumped on it alittle? and the check engine light came on. I didn't notice any performance change so I will wait to put a few miles on it before I chase down the code. Other than that what a thrill after the Cavalier and Blazer winter. Can't wait to be out everyday and hearing the exhaust and feeling of the curvy roads out where I live.

I've had a vette for 9 years and every single time I get into one of mine it's 90% of that "first drive" feeling all over again
