:yesnod:

It makes them worth more money!!!! j/k

Yep - all 93's had the badging on the headrests. Although, I've never seen a 93 ZR1 up close.....maybe they do/dont? Who knows.

All '93 are 40th and should have the 40th logo embossed into the headrests.
However, the Ruby Red 40th (RPO Z25) is the collectors edition with the special exterior and interior, 40th logo badges on the fenders as well as on the headrests.
Yes, the Ruby ZR1 does have the 40th logo on the headrest.

Also, the Ruby Red's are far from rare, there were more of them than any other color in '93.

Note: This value does not represent a "parts car".

Average Retail Value — This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer".

High Retail Value — This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle *.
* "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concourse judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate-regulated facility.

Actually the "rare" 93 would be one of the 426 cloth seated (?) cars that wouldn't have the 40th logo embroidered in it.

15,898 coupes
5,692 Verts

-8,509 Base leather
-766 Base leather (white)
-11,267 Sport seat - leather
-766 Sport seats - leather (white)

Leaves 426 93s with the non-embroidered cloth seats. Any one ever seen one?

For bonus points:

In what other late C4 model year was a color other than red the top seller?

Winner gets a free beer at the Baymont!

Damn, I knew that, but I was at our Northeast Christmas party. We had close to 70 guests in a room made for 40!

Burnouts in the parking lot, what a night!, the bill was only $1,000 tip included!(No alcohol, separate bill)
