Well my interior project is done, new rear carpet, up-graded seat covers, steering wheel cover & the dash is re-done. I had the old rose wood panels and they were in bad shape the finish was lifting & cracking so I decided to re-cover them, I used the old panels as templates bought some spray adhesive & some vinyl, I also did the head liner the same color. The door sills I had from a older vett ,painted them black then used gold lettering & clear coated them. I also did the door inserts in black vinyl, door carpets & hush panels I died black. I think it turned out ok, just thought I would post some photos. Its a 87 64K on the clock.

Looks great. Did you wrap the vinyl underneath the stock plastic and then secure it? Did you have any clearance problems (like with the cupholder lid)? I would consider something like this for mine....sharp.

I had old rose wood panels that were on top of the dash panels so i warped it around those and cut it flush on the back side, but i bet you could do the same with the stock panels
