Default Another Production Date question!

I've seen several people figure out how to find the actually time/date your Corvette was made and I was wondering if there's a site that will decode it out for ya or if someone can point me to where it is on an 85.

VIN = 1G1YY0782F5103223

Thanks for the help!

quick google gave me this...

Just do it manually, it's pretty straight forward.

VIN Decoder Results
VIN: 1G1YY0782F5103223
Year: 1985
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Motor: 5.7 L98 V8
Body Style: Coupe

Sorry you mentioned time/date. I'll pass on that, not entirely sure :S

Haha cool I was born in 86, so i'm 2 years older than my corvette :S Although VIN #'s can lie sometimes, my VIN says i own a 1989, although the seatbelts and so list 1988, although it could be my importer did the dodge and got me a 1989 (due to some laws, you can import 1988 and before vehicles without heavy taxation). Not my problem, managed to get import approval so i'm a happy camper.

The month and year is on the sticker on the rear edge of the drivers door, if you want the day and hour you need a build sheet, purchased here.

Actually going by that vin, I would guess that the inside
of your door will say 09/04 for September 1984.
That is car number #3223 of the entire production run.
And I think they started production in late August or
early September for the year.....
