It is sad and senseless! You have to wonder how long that guy had owned that car. I bet not long. Nevertheless, it was a stupid thing to do. Those yellow lines are there for a reason!
Very sad. And here I feel like an a$$. I thought for sure it was going to be the teenager that was racing down the highway. A 50 yr old? I hope he was sick and just lost his mind. Like those people who have a diabetes attack and had no clue they where even driving....

The guy could have owned the car forever and still be a moron. Why is it that the morons always live and the innocent die?I hope the guy has a conscience and it haunts him forever.I almost lost my 17 year old nephew to something like several years ago.My heart goes out to the family of this young man.
I used to live not far from there. There are a lot of 2 lane roads that allow passing. There were a couple of times I almost got taken out by someone passing and one time I had to go into the breakdown lane to avoid being hit head on. Scary stuff.

In all due respect for your comment, I don't think age makes a person flawless.
Another lesson to be learned. If someone is coming straight at you .Put your car in the ditch, avoid the head on if possible. Its too bad people risk lives to save a few seconds. Is it worth it?

I'd bet a lotta money that kid never saw it coming -- or the Vette kept moving to the kid's right. Damn our cars are great toys but ya gotta have respect for them -- and for others on the road.
