Question for Convert. owners.
I just installed a new upper door panel trim, and it's not setting the same as the passenger side... being that the original was so deformed I couldn't reference the fit. Thus, I compared to the passenger side and it fits flush. Below are pictures of the issue in question.
Does your Driver side upper panel fit the same as this?? (Rear of door panel)

I bought that upper panel trim for my 86 (aftermarket) and never could make it fit right. I ended up repairing my old one and painting it. Sold the aftermarket one I paid $100. for on e-bay. for $50. Went under the live and learn category.
