Default Wheels sizes
I have a friend that wants to put my 08 Z06 oem wheels on his 85 C4.

Can he do this?

That's quite a jump up. The 85 stock wheels were 16", the 08 Z06 are 18"f/ 19"r (or possibly 19"f/ 20"r).

With the magic help of spacers anything should be possible! That and a healthy big check book! ha ha

Don't use spacers...use adaptors and he will be fine.

Front with a 1" adaptor will fit but the rear will be a 1 1/2" or maybe more. I think it is a +74 on the back. It will also stick out about an 1 1/2 out of the fender once you get the inner offset worked out. That is a 19x12 on the back of a 08 z06. It will look funny.
