Default Do the mirror wind deflectors work?

Targa off, or just windows down I get too much window whipping thru the windows. Do these deflectors work and how do they install?

I have them on my LT4, and yes they do work.
Just be aware, that the design of the Corvette and side windows allows for more "wind in your face" than other cars I've been in.

But the deflectors really cut it down to a level you can live with.

They come with double sided tape and rivets. Some people just use the tape with good results.
But if you want, you can drill small holes in your mirror housing and use the pop rivets.

Tried the tape, just OK, finally put them on with the rivets, much better. Some vendors don't sell with rivets, so look close and make sure they are included.

Convertibles came with them.
Don't buy anything but OEM, the others don't fit as well.
And yes they work great, so good I gave away my hatch vent.

Are OEM versions still available from the dealer? What looks better - keeping them black or painting them to match the mirrors (or does painting them make your mirrors look like elephant ears)?

Andy,
I bought a set from MAM a couple of years ago and never installed them. They are the black plastic with adhesive back or you can use rivets. I'll let you have them for 20.00 shipped if interested.
