Make sure they are on perfectly straight. I got mine from Corvetteamerica.com. Mine cut down considerably on the wind in the face/noise when the windows were down on both sides.
On the other hand, my driver's side creates a LOT of noise now for some reason (passenger's side is quiet)when the window is up. I have taken if off and reapplied it 3 times and I still get lots of wind noise with the windows up. I must be off a fraction of an inch causing a wind noise.
I have no idea if mine are OEM. Maybe I got a bad brand that doens't fit as precisely. I do know mine didn't come with rivets. Is that the giveaway?

I've seen these before - described as cutting out 'that annoying wind whistle'. I've never experienced wind whistle, just gobs of air blasting in my face even with the window cracked slightly.
To be clear - do these things actually stop the wind-blast in the face ?

I just got some in a payitforward. drivers side fits snug as a bug, passenger side not even close. Big enough gap where I don't even think double sided would hold. Maybe that's why the guy gave them away Anyone else have fitment issues? How about some pictures?

Yes. They work VERY well at cutting down the wind hitting your face part. But depending on the brand you get, some can cause wind noise that wasn't there before when the windows are up. (not sure which brands are best).
Before I put mine on, I had little to no wind noise on both sides, but when I rolled down my windows, I was getting hit hard with wind right in my face.
Now after putting them on, the wind in my face is gone when the windows are down. However, when the windows are up, the driver's side has a lot of wind noise that wasn't there before. I removed the deflector and tried repositioning it 3 times with no luck. It apparently doesn't fit as well as the passenger's side. It's probably off just a fraction of an inch or something.
