I did my '95 a few weeks ago. That chit is amazing! Pulls the impurities right outa the paint and knocks the high spots off. It helps on the windshield too.

The claybar is a great product. I clayed mine yesterday. I had not washed it in weeks. Even after a hand wash, the paint felt like sandpaper full of stuck on deposits. After the claybar it was smooth as glass.
I used the Mother's kit which comes with their detailer spray. I can't stand using their detailer spray simply because it smells like cinnamon which I hate.
It really works that well getting all the crap off? Do you have to use like bug and tar to get the heavy stuff off first just go for it?
If you run your hand across the paint and it feels smooth as glass, you don't need it. You can also do this with a microfiber towel. If the towel feels like it's hanging up and grabbing on the paint instead of gliding over it, you need to clay.
Otherwise the paint feels like sandpaper and you can even see a bunch of black dots which are stuck on deposits that don't come off with a hand wash. The claybar picks that stuff off the paint without scratching. You first hand wash and dry. Then you claybar the car per the instructions. After that you can add your favorite wax. From there use a detailer spray as maintenance to remove deposits before they have time to stick.
You need to wash the car first with a detergent like Dawn (I know they tell you not to use dish washing soap for your car), but the reason they tell you NOT to do it is because it removes all the wax and polish, but that is where you want to start. Do a search there are some good threads about claying your car. I just did mine this past weekend and then a couple coats of Zaino. The paint feels like it's wet (so slick).
Here is another neat little trick. Go grab a sandwich baggy and put your fingers in it then run it over your car. You will be amazed at what you can feel. I normally clay my Vette twice a year. Also, if you drop your clay, might as well throw it away. I learned that lesson the hard way a couple of years ago.
