Did American ever start offering a "hub centric" Torque Thrust? Great looking wheels, but dangerous if it only relies on the lugs to carry the load.

"but almost every major manufactuer has closed their American Factories and moved them to Mexico, China and any other place that have no minimum wages, benefits, child-protection laws, and no enviromental regulations.

We can thank our corrupt, elected representatives for this. It doesn't matter what political affiliation they have - they're all corrupt and will screw the American Citizens for a fancy meal, a fancy bottle of wine and a high-class hooker on the side."

I had no tone that indicated I wanted to flame you. Actually, if you want to, and can afford to buy American Made, all the more power to you. But when considering your desire to do so, even you had to admit it is getting all the more difficult to purchase something made solely in the USA. It is idealogically a good thing, but what got my goat in your rant was the attack as quoted above.

Manufacturing and trade is all about economics today, and I do believe you will have to give me that point. And that would be world economics at that. No singular country can close its harbors and airports to import/export and expect to survive, nay, even grow.

Factories and businesses relocate because their stock holders want to see, no, demand to see, profit! The easiest way to increase the bottom line is to cut labor costs, hence the move. And when moving out of country they no longer have to deal with the EPA. Now I think it is a great idea to breath clean air, but try that line in the rest of the world. Other businesses that won't move, sell, and more often, it is going to foreign investors, i.e., Chrysler Building, Budweiser, I'm sure the list is long.

I didn't think your comments about our politicians is valid, but if you have proof about the manner in which they are all screwing the American public, or of their ability to sell out for free meals, wine and hookers, kindly provide the same.

Now I know why Alice Cooper used to sing: "I wanna be elected!"

That's what I was wondering. I thought American Racing made their own wheels here in the USA?
