Hi
Last year i replaced my weatherstrip all around my 89 convert and now
the driver door shuts even harder then it did before the pass side works great but it seems the pass side dont close as far in as the driver side.
Is there a way to adjust the door post?
I took the door post out to see if i can move it like the hayes says
and nope the hole is just as big as the torx bolt no movment there.

Are you talking about the "striker" post that catches the door catch?
There is not an adjustment for that.
What I would look at is the weather strip around the door might be out of place, causing the door not to close correctly.
Also try posting this in the "tech" section
