I know I've seen this before, but I'm going to check my timing tomorrow. Where is the wire that you unhook to put in bypass ? 1989 coupe.

On my '85 it is a brown wire (I think) with a connector that seperates right next to the distributor...the drivers side of the distributor. If you don't have a FSM (factory service manual), I'd encourage you to get one.

Yep, it's in the Tan/Blk wire to the right of the brake booster.

Checked my timing today, don't know who messed with it before, but they apparently didn't have a clue what they were doing. was retarded by 8 degrees, got everything set back to where it should be, and my mpg's came up to 26+ on the way home ( about 30 miles ). Doesn't even run like the same car. Thanks everybody for your help!!!!
