high idle when starting hot
'92 LT1: (I don't have Part 2 of the FSM). When I start up the engine when it's still at normal operating temparature, the idle runs at about 1600 for 30-90 seconds and then drops down to where it should be. Other than that it runs great and everything else seems normal. I guessing it's a sensor issue of some kind. Any suggestions on what to look for?

OK, I note that the IAC is found in Section 6E3-C2 of Book 2 (which I don't have) of the FSM. Any chance you or someone else can post or send me an image of those pages? thanks in advance.

OK, I finally checked the IAC, and it appears to be good. Impedance was 50 ohms across A-B and across C-D. Is impedance the only check for a bad IAC?
I should also add this this fast idle problem doesn't happen all the time, but it only happens when the outside air temp is over 70 degrees. Any other suggestinos on what to check for?
