Window Stuck
Went to drive my Z06 tonight (2001) and driver's window will not go down. Appears to be getting power as click is heard when switch button is pushed for up or down. Tried holding button while I shut door firmly and still no luck. Most likely cause? Bad motor? Stuck motor? Bad door module? Window appears to be in proper fully closed position. No codes in computer and would not necessarily expect any. Am I doomed to taking the door apart?

At this point it's looking like door surgery may be your only option. If it clicks, sounds like it's getting the power and wants to go it just can't. Guess it's better it freezed in the fully up position than any other.

Hey guys, thanks for your responses. Yes, i thought that I had posted this in the C5 forum. A reply is still warranted. ncvette told me to hit the door handle hard with my left fist while I held the button down and (surprise!) it worked.
Now we know.

It happened to me last week but with the window down. One swift punch to the door, and wala, it went up and has been fine ever since- go figure
