Wood Grain Dash kit
Has anyone put a wood grain dash kit in their car?
Plus any pictures would be nice.
Just one of those things, kinda like it kinda like the original look...
Thanks

Not sure if I would do it. Some of the kits do look good though. I guess it's all a matter of taste.

I took mine out of my '86 auto, I prefer the black. I still have it, dunno if it'll fit a '92 though.

Although it is not my cup of tea, if you want woodgrain, do it. I'm sure that a whole lot of people out there would object to the Baldwin-Motion stripe on my 1975. So what. There are more than enough stock Vettes out there.

Re: Wood Grain Dash kit (Rubyred)
But Baldwin-Motion has an element of historical significance...
And no, the dash board changed completely in 1991... they will not interchanged.

Re: Wood Grain Dash kit (kbklt1)
OK OK I give :D
Like I said not sure if I liked it or not, belive me keeping a car in it's 'original' condition is what I like the best.
But I thought maybe someone had tried it, and by the reactions I'd say that it really didn't look all that sharp.
So on this one I'll think I'll go ahead and stay with the black... after all it is a sports car and not a sedan, sudo sports auto :)

I did mine in '97. Got them from Superior Custom Dash, located in Tennessee. Quality stuff. I know they're not for everyone, but I like them! :yesnod:

Dang, the first thing I did when I bought my car was to remove one of those 'burl' wood kits! Its a Vette, not a Jaguar!
