climate control

I have a 1990 Zr1 with auto climate. The reading on the display shows -34 all the time. I was able to get a code 3 and replaced the outside temp sensor. Both sensors are within specs (2500 ohm at 77 degrees) Im thinking it might be the head unit? Any ideas , thanks

If that doesn't do it, you need to trace the wiring from the sender to the Programmer to make sure that it's not open.

Battery reset was done and did not work. As for the manual nothing applies once the code goes away as it did when I undid the battery. Now when you check for codes you get normal. I have access to a controler and will swap that out and see if it helps.

Did you try grounding the lead? That should give you max at the controls.

Ground what lead?

As of now I have had a chance to replace the head unit and no change. Next I replaced the programmer and no change.

I have followed the manual and leads to a dead end. It never addresses this issue.

The display will start high and slowly drops and now settles around 50 degree.
Im stumped, any ideas
