Can anyone offer values for A, B,and C that will allow a C4 to be driven up on the ramps to work on without damaging the front spoiler? I plan to make some out of 6x8's or larger.... 2 wide to accommodate the tire width and possibly a removable ramp so the car winds up just sitting there on the blocks.
I need a gradual enough slope so I do no damage, i'm sure you understand....

I looked for ramps and finally made my own.
They raise the front tire a full 9 inches off the ground and I don't have to worry about my spoiler hitting. Nice and light. Only $25 for the wood and about an hr of time.
I bought a set at Wally World (Walmart) that hold 12,000 pounds. The car is high enough for me to slide under to change oil, tighten bolts, and lube the zerk fittings. I can back the car onto them and change the exhaust from the catalytic convertor to the tailpipe. The ramps are made of plastic and are light in weight. There are hand holds on the sides to make them easy to handle.
I have had them for a few years, but it seems like I paid about $28.00 plus tax. Very durable.
You can look under the tech tip section, there was a thread on how to make your own ramps out of wood.
