I was just in the C5 for sale section as I on occasion I think about a C5, and came accross a couple of low milage 98's in the 26K range . These cars are starting to become more affordable, oh well maybe next year, could be a retirement gift ,will have to talk to wife, and yes I'm an old guy ,but young in mind and spirit. Check my signature.
Yeah, i've been doing the exact same thing. Those C5s are looking better and better as the price drops, but I have the choice either to have my C4 and do mods or just have a C5.
I'd have to drive one first. I know I like the styling and I know I like the LS1, but I have never ridden in one let alone driven one. I know my girlfriend sure wants me to get rid of some cars and get one.
Prices still too high around here.Stopped at a dealer last week and looked at a 99 vert.22k on the clock, it was marked at,are you sitting down?, $41,000.00.I told him he was out of his mind.He said they could come down a little.I just laughed and left.I will get one when I can find the right car for the rigt dollars :yesnod:

The dealers around here are pretty unrealistic about Vette prices as well. That's the beautiful part about the internet :)
Had I the funds I would have bought a C5 from the get-go. Now that I have a nice C4, I don't think the extra invertment in a C5 would have turned my crank any better.
